For master swimmers & aqua fitness regulars, 55+

You swim.
Your skin pays
a price it
doesn't have to.

After 55, skin produces less collagen, thins at the barrier, and loses moisture up to 40% faster than younger skin. Chlorine accelerates every one of those processes. Aqua Veil is designed around that biology β€” not around a 30-year-old's skin.

Protecting skin before chlorine reaches it β€” not after.
Why It Matters More After 55

The biology of ageing skin and chlorine is not complicated. Most swim brands ignore it entirely.

Chlorine is a powerful oxidant. In a pool, it doesn't just sit in the water β€” it reacts with skin lipids to generate free radicals, which trigger inflammatory cascades that degrade collagen and impair the skin barrier.

For younger swimmers, this is an inconvenience. For skin over 55 β€” with lower collagen density, reduced sebaceous output, and a naturally thinner barrier β€” it's a meaningful accelerant of the ageing process.

Every existing swim skincare product addresses this after the fact. Rinse off the chlorine. Moisturise the stripped skin. Apply the damage, then treat it.

Aqua Veil reverses that logic. Apply before. Intercept the oxidative reaction at the skin surface. Keep the barrier intact. The swim stays the same β€” what changes is what chlorine does to your skin.

Greater transepidermal water loss in older vs. younger skin after equivalent chlorine exposure β€” due to compromised barrier lipid organisation.

Active Ingredients

Clinical-grade. Peer-reviewed.
Formulated for the biology that matters.

No proprietary blend language. No vague "nourishing complex." Every active has a published mechanism of action and a reason it's in the formula.

Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu)
Collagen & elastin synthesis. Proven.
GHK-Cu is one of the most documented wound-healing and anti-ageing peptides in dermatological literature. It upregulates collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis β€” directly counteracting the structural protein loss that chlorine-induced oxidation accelerates in mature skin. Multiple RCTs confirm measurable improvements in skin laxity and barrier function.
Pickart & Margolina, Biomolecules, 2018 β€” comprehensive GHK-Cu review
Ethyl Ascorbic Acid + Vitamin E
Free radical interception at the barrier surface.
Stable vitamin C (Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) combined with vitamin E creates a synergistic antioxidant network that neutralises chlorine-generated reactive oxygen species before they penetrate the stratum corneum. In ageing skin, endogenous antioxidant reserves are depleted β€” topical replenishment is well-documented to provide meaningful photoprotective and chemoprotective benefit.
Pinnell et al., J. Invest. Dermatol., 2005; Murray et al., J. Invest. Dermatol., 2008
Ferulic Acid + Green Tea EGCG
The amplifier. And the anti-inflammatory baseline.
Ferulic acid doubles the photoprotective activity of vitamins C and E when combined β€” a synergy established in peer-reviewed research and clinically exploited in premium dermatology for over a decade. EGCG independently suppresses NF-ΞΊB inflammatory signalling β€” the pathway chlorine activates in skin cells β€” reducing the inflammatory cascade at the source.

Active Seniors Edition

Built to match the demands of serious swimmers.

The activating spray lays down clinical-grade actives as a fine, even mist β€” no greasy stick to drag across skin, no pre-mixed formula that's been quietly oxidising in the bottle for months. A few light passes cover the forearm; a dozen cover the full upper body.

Each week you snap a fresh liquid pod into the bottle, shake, and you're ready. The vitamin C and copper peptides stay sealed away from air and water until that moment β€” so what you spray is always at peak strength, never a faded version of itself.

"The weekly pod system was the breakthrough. Vitamin C dies in water within days β€” so we stopped pre-mixing it. You activate a fresh dose each week. Maximum potency, every single swim."

Designed Around You

Every format decision was made for a reason.

πŸ”¬
Maximum potency
Clinical-grade vitamin C and copper peptides at full concentration. Because each dose is activated fresh, the actives never degrade before they reach your skin β€” you get the strength the lab intended, not a faded one.
πŸ’§
No mess, no measuring
Each weekly dose arrives as a pre-measured liquid pod. Snap it into the bottle, shake, and spray β€” no powders to spill, no droppers, no guesswork. Clean enough for a locker-room bench.
πŸ—“οΈ
Always fresh
Vitamin C oxidises within days of meeting water β€” so we don't pre-mix it. Every bottle you spray was activated this week, not last season. Fresh protection, every single session.
The Ritual

Before & after the water.

Every competitor in this category is designed for post-swim use. Aqua Veil is the only brand positioned pre-swim β€” because prevention is the only intervention that works before oxidative damage occurs.

1
Apply pre-swim
Spray a light, even layer over arms, shoulders, chest, and any area that contacts pool water. Works on dry skin in 30–45 seconds. No rubbing in required.
2
Swim
The glycerin barrier maintains adhesion through water contact. Vitamin C and ferulic acid intercept chlorine free radicals at the skin surface.
3
Rinse and reapply
Post-swim, rinse with warm water. For sessions over 90 minutes or two-a-days, reapply at the halfway point. Copper tripeptide supports ongoing barrier recovery.
Freshly activated, every week.
Simple. Clean. Powerful. β€” under 30 seconds.

3Pouring the blue concentrate into the spray bottle
Pour the concentrate into the spray bottle (fill with water until the mark)
4Shaking the filled spray bottle
Shake for 10–15 seconds
5The freshly activated spray, ready to use

Straight Questions, Straight Answers

You've done your research. So have we.

How does the formula interact with chlorine chemically?
Chlorine reacts with skin lipids to generate hypochlorous acid and reactive oxygen species. The vitamin C (Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) and ferulic acid in Aqua Veil act as sacrificial antioxidants β€” they react with those free radicals preferentially, before they reach the cellular level of the skin. The glycerin base maintains adhesion through water contact so the actives stay at the surface where the reaction occurs.
Does the spray wash off immediately when I enter the pool?
No. Once it dries down, the glycerin-based film adheres to the skin surface and holds through water contact. It's not waterproof indefinitely, which is why we recommend reapplication for sessions over 90 minutes β€” but it maintains active contact through a full standard swim session.
Will it affect pool water chemistry?
The formula is designed to remain on the skin surface, not to leach into the water. The quantities involved β€” a fraction of a gram per application β€” are inconsequential relative to pool volume and standard chlorination levels. It does not interfere with pool sanitisation chemistry.
Can I use it with my existing moisturiser or sunscreen routine?
Apply Aqua Veil as the last step before pool entry β€” after sunscreen if you're outdoors, not under it. The actives need direct skin contact to intercept chlorine at the surface. Post-swim, your regular moisturiser or body lotion works well over a rinse.
