๐ŸŒŠ Summer Swim Season Launch โ€” Founding Batch: Only 147 units remaining.
Formulated for expecting & postpartum moms

Your skin is
protecting two
now.

Swimming is one of the safest, most recommended exercises in pregnancy โ€” but the chlorinated water it happens in is quietly hard on your skin. AquaVeil is the pre-swim layer that lets you keep doing what's good for you and your baby, without the dryness, tightness, and irritation chlorine leaves behind.

Always fresh, full potency

The Problem

Chlorine is silently damaging your pregnancy skin every time you swim.

Strips your skin barrier

Chlorine is a powerful oxidising agent that dissolves the natural lipid layer protecting your skin. During pregnancy, hormonal changes already compromise that barrier โ€” chlorine makes it dramatically worse.

Triggers inflammation

Pool chemicals activate inflammatory cytokines in skin tissue, causing redness, itching, and flare-ups. For pregnant skin that's already reactive, this can spiral quickly.

Creates oxidative stress

Chlorine generates free radicals that break down collagen and elastin โ€” the very proteins that keep your skin firm and elastic during and after pregnancy, when you need them most.

Research note: Studies published in dermatology journals document elevated inflammatory responses in sensitive skin populations from chlorinated water exposure. Repeated exposure without protection can lead to lasting changes โ€” chronic dryness and increased sensitivity.
The Research

Clinical-grade actives. Peer-reviewed.
Not marketing language.

Every ingredient earns its place. Here's what the literature says โ€” and why it matters more when you're expecting.

๐Ÿ”ฌ
Vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate)
An oil-based, stable vitamin C that neutralises chlorine-generated free radicals at the skin surface. Unlike water-based ascorbic acid, it never stings and never needs water to stay stable. Stays potent for 18โ€“24 months. Shown to inhibit hyperpigmentation โ€” critical for pregnancy-related melasma.
Lin et al., J. Cosmet. Dermatol. โ€” Vitamin C stability & bioavailability, 2021
โš—๏ธ
Ferulic Acid
Doubles the antioxidant effect of vitamin C and E when combined. Acts as the glue in the network โ€” continuously recharging both vitamins so the system lasts longer and works harder. The three together hold their potency far longer than any single antioxidant could alone.
Pinnell et al., J. Invest. Dermatol., 2005 โ€” Ferulic acid + vitamins C & E synergy
๐Ÿ’Š
Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
Stands behind vitamin C, continuously recharging it as it works and keeping the oil itself fresh. Together with vitamin C and ferulic acid, completes the antioxidant network clinically shown to deliver synergistic protection greater than any single active alone.
Lin et al., J. Am. Acad. Dermatol., 2003 โ€” topical vitamins C & E photoprotection
๐ŸŒฟ
Bisabolol (from Chamomile)
Calms reactive, easily-irritated skin while the antioxidant network does its job. Keeps inflammatory responses from escalating while the vitamin C, E, and ferulic acid intercept free radicals at the skin surface.

Pregnancy-Safe Formula

The DIY ritual your swim bag was missing.

Mix it just before you use it, then spray the fresh mist before and after for full results. No fiddly caps. No artificial fragrance. Just a coconut-based, made-on-demand spray you mist across skin in 30 seconds before you enter the pool. It forms a protective barrier that shields against chlorine oxidation without clogging pores.

The pod formula is anhydrous (coconut-oil based) โ€” so no water โ€” which means the actives never degrade. What you apply in your third trimester is as potent as the first spray out of the box.

"The spray format was intentional. It has full maximum potency to guarantee protection. We built the delivery format around the segment, not the other way around."

The Ritual

Shield before you swim.

Every other swim brand is built around rinsing off damage after it's done. Aqua Veil works before you enter the water. That's the category difference.

1
Apply to dry skin
Spray across arms, shoulders, belly โ€” wherever chlorinated water will touch. Takes under 30 seconds.
2
Enter the water
The oil barrier forms a protective film. Vitamin C and ferulic acid neutralise free radicals on contact.
3
Rinse after as usual
Post-swim, rinse with fresh water as you normally would. The barrier has already done its job.
The Weekly Ritual
Freshly activated, every week.
Simple. Clean. Powerful. โ€” under 30 seconds.

Radical Transparency

Every ingredient in the bottle. Explained in plain language.

Eight ingredients. No water (water is added weekly when preparing the final spray), no fillers, no fragrance, nothing you can't pronounce a reason for. Here's every one โ€” and why it's there.

โœ“
Fractionated MCT Coconut Oil (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride)

The lightweight coconut base that carries everything else and spreads it into an even, weightless layer. Never greasy.

โœ“
Squalane A plant lipid identical to one your skin makes

The "veil" โ€” it reinforces your skin's natural moisture barrier so chlorinated water strips away less. Gentle enough for a newborn.

โœ“
Coconut Emollient (Coco-Caprylate)

Gives the oil its dry, silky finish so it sinks in fast instead of sitting on top.

โœ“
Vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate)

The antioxidant. It neutralizes the free radicals chlorine stirs up the moment it hits your skin. This is an oil-based form, so it never stings and never needs water to stay stable.

โœ“
Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

Vitamin C's partner. It recharges the Vitamin C as it works and keeps the oil itself fresh.

โœ“
Provitamin B5 (Panthenol)

Comforts and supports the skin barrier. The ingredient you'll find in gentle baby lotions.

โœ“
Ferulic Acid A plant antioxidant

Recharges both vitamins so the whole system lasts longer and works harder. It's the glue in the network.

โœ“
Bisabolol From chamomile

Calms reactive, easily-irritated skin while everything else does its job.

That's the entire bottle. No water, so no preservatives. No fragrance, no dyes, no endocrine disruptors, nothing flagged unsafe for pregnancy, kids, or sensitive skin. If it's not on this list, it's not in here.
Questions

Straight answers.

Is Aqua Veil safe to use during pregnancy?
The formula is free from parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, and any ingredients flagged as endocrine disruptors. As with any new skincare product during pregnancy, we recommend discussing with your OB or midwife. The ingredient list is available and explained above.
Why a spray and not a lotion or pre-mixed serum?
Lotions are mostly water, which dilutes the actives and shortens shelf life. Pre-mixed serums start oxidising the day they're bottled โ€” losing potency for months before they reach you. Aqua Veil's spray is mixed fresh and applied as a fine, even mist, so you get maximum potency and complete coverage every time.
How is this different from what I rinse off post-swim?
Post-swim rinses and shampoos remove chlorine after it's already oxidised your skin. Aqua Veil creates a protective barrier before you enter the water โ€” catching free radicals at the moment of contact, not an hour later.
Can I use it postpartum while breastfeeding?
The formula contains no systemic actives โ€” it works at the skin surface and isn't designed for absorption. That said, always review the ingredient list with your healthcare provider if you have specific concerns.
